Os reenvío este correo para que veáis la propuesta porque me parece interesante unirnos como Alianza y establecer vínculos como tal con Gensuikyo. Creo alguna de vuestras organizaciones ya los tiene de hace tiempo ☺️.

Call for Joining International Campaign for a Nuclear Weapon-free World -70th Year of the Bikini H-bomb Tragedy to 80th Year of the A-bombing <>:
April 2, 2024 Japan Council against A and H Bombs (Gensuikyo)
On March 1, 2024, we, Japan Council against A and H Bombs (Gensuikyo) announced the launch of the “National Campaign for a Nuclear-free Japan – 70th Year of the Bikini H-bomb Tragedy to 80th Year of the Atomic-bombing”.
With the purpose of achieving a world without nuclear weapons and making the Japanese government join the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), this campaign aims to build up public support for the elimination of nuclear weapons by raising public awareness about the inhumanity of nuclear weapons that threatens the survival of the human race. We call on you to support, join it and organize the similar campaign/actions in your country to achieve a world without nuclear weapons and have your governments join the TPNW. Specific Actions in the Campaign
(1) Let’s organize activities to raise public awareness about the damage of the A-bombing and nuclear tests. We the Japanese movement will send you the A-bomb photo sets (A-bomb photos plus some photos of Bikini test damage). Please hold A-bomb photo exhibitions and promote dialogue with the people at your communities, schools, workplaces, and with support of local governments.
(2) Let’s make the testimonies of the Hibakusha of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Korea and nuclear victims heard in your country in order to disseminate the reality of the damage and to promote relief for them. We can send the Hibakusha for speaking tours, video testimonies and other materials to you.
(3) Let’s take various actions to urge your governments join the TPNW. In Japan, we have been collecting signatures to build up public opinion that Japan should sign and ratify the TPNW. We submitted the collected signatures to the Japanese government before the NPT and TPNW meetings. In the campaign, we are going to reach out all communities, schools, workplaces, local governments, parliamentarians, religious fields, etc.
"Like the Bikini Signature Campaign" is our slogan.
The Bikini H-bomb test disaster triggered the nationwide surge of the people against A and H bombs. In a few months after that, 32 million signatures for a total ban on these bombs were collected and all local governments passed resolutions in protest against the unlawful nuclear test, which led to the holding of the 1st World Conference against A and H Bombs in 1955. Since then, we have organized the World Conference every August in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
